On a warm July morning, I took my Moleskine sketchbook to nearby Frick Park. I sunned myself while I painted the trees on the hill, my acrylics spread out over a rainbow quilt.

It was my first experiment with plein air art in a while, and it serves as a happy memory in my sketchbook.

I had the painting professionally photographed to make prints. My prints are very high quality, on a thick, textured Somerset velvet paper. Both the original and the prints are 8x10.

In the print, you can see the seam of the notebook, which I think adds character.
