This is a print of an original painting that was commissioned by bloggers Chris Loves Julia for a "rescue kitchen" in the Pittsburgh area.

The portrait is of a woman with a far-off look in her green eyes. She has dark hair, pulled back into a bun, and a crown of grapes in her hair. The background is a dark sage green (chosen to match accessories in the kitchen).

I took inspiration from Bacchus, the Roman god of agriculture and wine. The painting was named "Elizabeth" in honor of my aunt, in whose kitchen it hangs.

The original is 16x20, on canvas. The prints are available in three sizes — 8x10, 11x14, 16x20 — with the option of a thick Somerset Velvet paper or mounted on stretched canvas.

Prints ship quickly and with great care.
